Otis L. Welch

Otis L. Welch, 92, of Harrisville, died Wednesday, August 11, 2010 at Magee General Hospital.  

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday at Palestine Baptist Church.  Services will be 11am Saturday at Palestine Baptist Church with interment in Harrisville Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Welch was a native and lifelong resident of Simpson County.  He was a member
of Palestine Baptist Church.  He worked for Kuhlman Electric in Crystal Springs
for over 20 years and after retiring he was a cook for Jerry’s Fish House over
20 years.
 
Survivors include: wife, Dorothy Buckley Welch of Harrisville; sons, Randy Welch
and wife Betty of Harrisville and Douglas Welch and wife Patty of Pearl;
daughter, Dianne Berry and husband James of Braxton; 12 grandchildren and 23
great grandchildren.
