Anna Lowery Brewer

Anna Lowery Brewer, 88, of Georgetown, died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at Silver Cross Nursing Home. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Monday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst and 1pm-2pm Tuesday at Georgetown Baptist Church.  Services will be 2pm Tuesday at Georgetown Baptist Church with burial in Georgetown Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Brewer was a faithful member of Georgetown Baptist Church for over 60
years.  She was a devoted wife and mother known to the community as “Nannie”. 
She was the caretaker of many.  Even during her sickness she never lost her
upbeat and witty personality.
 
She is survived by sons, Kirby R. Brewer of Hazlehurst, Jimmy L. Brewer of
Angie, LA, and Mickey Brewer of Georgetown;  daughters, Jeanenne Brewer Engle of Ft. Collis, CO, Billie Brewer Smith of Georgetown, and Judy Brewer Clyburn of
Brandon; sister, Bobbie Errington of Georgetown; 16 grandchildren, 35 great
grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
