James L. Sills, Sr.

James L. Sills, Sr., 82, of Terry, died Monday, December 6, 2010 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.  Services will be 2pm Saturday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Terry Cemetery. 

Mr. Sills was a native of Newhebron and a retired commercial glass glazier. 

Survivors include: his wife, Ruth Greer Sills; sons, James Larry Sills, Jr. and wife Renna of Star, Bobby Glen Sills and wife Michelle of Wesson and Chris Sills of Jackson; daughters, Peggy Patterson of Byram, Martha Carolyn Odom of Byram, Janice Childs and husband Gary of Brandon, Janet Easley and husband Larry Easley of Baton Rouge, LA and Sheila Blanton and husband Gene of Dallas, TX; 18 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
