James A. “Jimmy” Ashley, Jr.

James A. “Jimmy” Ashley, Jr., 64, of Brookhaven, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2011, at Baptist Medical Center.
Visitation will be held Friday, Aug. 5 from 5-8 p.m. at Riverwood Family Funeral Services. Services will be  held Saturday, Aug. 6, at 10 a.m. from Riverwood Family Funeral Service in Brookhaven with interment in Mission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Wesson.
Mr. Ashley was born April 19, 1947, to James A. Ashley, Sr. and Hazel Earline Britt Ashley. He worked as a dairy man for 28  years and for the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Easthaven Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a son, William Lee Ashley.
Survivors include: wife, Barbara Bullock Ashley; son, James Stephen Ashley; brother, Larry Gene Ashley; and two grandchildren.
