Dorothy Fay Newman Martin

Dorothy Fay Newman Martin, 77, of Wesson, died Saturday, Sept. 24, 2011 at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazlehurst. 

Visitation will be 1-5pm Sunday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst.  Funeral services will be 2pm Monday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Zion Hill Cemetery.

 

Mrs. Martin was a member of Wesson Baptist Church, the American Legion and the 50+ club where she was the Treasurer.  She was also a member of the Truck Stop Domino’s Club.

 

Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Eugene Martin.

 

Survivors include: sons, Ricky E. Martin of Los Cruses, NM, John Michael Martin of Florence, James Marvin Martin of Wesson and Stanley Ray Martin of Wesson; daughter, Cathy Fay Miller of Wesson; brother, Johnny W. Newman of Brandon; half brothers, Bobby Newman, Dickey Newman, Jerry Newman, Jeff Newman and Greg Waters; half sisters, Betty Sue Newman and Cindy Newman; 12 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
