Sara Cliett
Sara Elizabeth Cliett, 85, passed away July 24, 2012 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Thursday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 10am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel. Graveside services will be 1pm Saturday at Palestine United Methodist Church Cemetery in Montpelier.
Mrs. Cliett was a member Hazlehurst United Methodist Church and a member of the 50+ club. She was a dedicated grandmother and homemaker. She was a resident of Pine Crest Guest Home for the last 2 years. She was born in Beasley Community near Montpelier and moved to Hazlehurst in 1963. She attended MSCW for one year. During WWII she worked at a munitions plant near Aberdeen.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fabus Denzil Cliett and her parents, George Herbert Davis and Ollie Reid Davis
She is survived by daughters, Karen and husband Larry Teesdale of Gautier and Suzanne and husband Randy Davis of Wesson; twin brother, Jerry Davis of Cedar Bluff and brother, Grady Davis of West Point; sister, Barbara Rawls of Jackson; five grandchildren, Shannon Waters, Jon Davis, Megan Powell, Katie Willis and Beth Davis; and six great grandchildren, Henry Waters, Cassie Willis, Joel Waters, Symon Davis, Maxx Davis and Tara Willis.
