Ruth McLendon Bennett Loggans, 81, of Wesson, died Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Silver Cross in Brookhaven.
Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Saturday at Stringer Family Funeral Home. Services will be 2pm Saturday at Stringer Family Chapel with interment at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Loggans was a member of Sylvarena Baptist Church. She loved gardening and flowers.
Survivors include: daughters, Patricia Purser (Jimmy Dale) of Crystal Springs and Debbie Earls (Ronnie) of Wesson; brothers, Kenneth McLendon of Alabama, Harold McLendon, Jerry McLendon, and Carroll McLendon all of Crystal Springs, and Robert McLendon of Wesson; sisters, Mary Evelyn Young of Crystal Springs and Linda Jean Gowan of Georgia; grandchildren, Scott Purser (Amanda) and Lisa Smith (Briley); 3 great grandchildren and one due next month.
