William Louie Dixon

William Louie Dixon, 76, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, August 29, 2013. 

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst and 1pm-2pm Wednesday at New Providence Baptist Church.  Services will be 2pm Wednesday at New Providence Baptist Church with burial in New Providence Cemetery.

Mr. Dixon was a deacon at Providence Baptist Church.  He was an avid member of the “Starks” crowd.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Lula Dixon and a brother, Carl E. Dixon.

Survivors include: sister-in-law, Rose Dixon of Hazlehurst; nephews, Michael Dixon of Raymond and Dr. William Dixon of Bogue Chitto; and great nieces and nephews, Thea Dixon, Megan Dixon, Claire Dixon, Madison Dixon, Sutton Dixon, and Carley Dixon.
