Janice Ray
Janice Rebecca Ray, 61, of Wesson, died Sunday, August 3, 2014 at University Medical Center in Jackson.
The memorial service will be held at Rocky Hill Baptist Church, Saturday, August 9, with Bro. David Hale officiating. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ray was born February 10, 1953 in Denim Springs, LA. She attended school at Wesson and achieved a culinary arts degree at Copiah Lincoln Community College.
Mrs. Ray was a member of Rocky Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ray was preceded in death by her mother, Isabel Nelson Ray.
Survivors include: her father, William Rodney Ray; daughter, Rebecca Deaton Madison;
sisters, Janette Gilleon, Connie Jones, and Nancy Ray; granddaughters, Victoria McCraine, Cheyenne McCraine, and Savannah Madison; and a grandson, William Madison.
