William Shelby Neal
William Shelby Neal, 85, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at Pine Crest Guest Home.
Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Thursday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 11am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at County Line Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mr. Neal was a native and lifelong resident of Crystal Springs. He graduated from Crystal Springs High School. Mr. Neal served in the Mississippi National Guard. He worked for Vickers, Inc. as a machinist for 35 years. Mr. Neal was a member of County Line Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mary Lou Wallace Neal; son, Larry Neal of Crystal Springs; daughters, Pam Coward of Hazlehurst, Patty Hodges of Florence, and Terry Teasley of Collins; sisters, Mavis L. Smith and Mary Nell McGowan both of Crystal Springs; 8 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
