Kathryn B. Glass

Kathryn B. Glass, 82, of Hazlehurst, died Monday, November 3, 2014 at Hardy Wilson Memorial Hospital in Hazlehurst. 

Visitation will be 10am-11am Friday with memorial services at 11am at Hazlehurst United Methodist Church.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

 

Mrs. Glass was a native of Greensburg, Indiana.  She worked as a bookkeeper for Pine Crest Guest Home for 30 years and she formerly worked as a bookkeeper for an auto dealership.  Mrs. Glass taught swimming, was a YMCA aquatic instructor and she was a member of the Methodist Women.

 

She is survived by son, Ronald Glass of Wesson; three foster daughters, Ruth Ann Duncan, Sandy Simmons, and Darlene Stapp; brother, Scott Carr; sisters, Mary Lou Bisco and Jenifer Carr;  8 grandchildren, David Glass, Derreck Glass, John Roger Glass, Jr., J. J. Langford, Marie Langford, Wendy Nelson, and Thomas Andrew Boyles; and 18 great grandchildren.
