Gary Gladney
Gary Gladney, 67, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at his home.
Visitation will be 9am-11am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel. Services will be 11am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mr. Gladney attended Bogue Chitto Baptist Church. He was the owner of Gary’s Boat Repair service in Jackson. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and outdoorsman. Mr. Gladney took great pleasure in raising a large garden each year that he shared with his family and friends.
He is survived by a son, Christopher Byron Gladney of Hazlehurst; daughters, Tracey Gladney Carlile of Crystal Springs, Renee Gladney Edmondson of Crystal Springs; Miranda Gail Gladney of Covington, LA; special friend, Vicki Schilling of Mount Hermon, LA; sisters, Diane McCullough of Jackson and Joan Waits of Ridgeland; and grandchildren, Alana Carlile, Christen Carlile, Kayla Langham, Connor Edmondson, Bailey Gross, Logan Gross, Victoria Hope Gladney, and Christopher Byron Gladney, Jr.
