Lynn Weathersby Massa
Lynn Weathersby Massa, 82, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, June 11, 2015 at her home.
Visitation will be 9am-11am Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 11am Tuesday at Stringer Family Chapel with interment at Hazlehurst Cemetery.
Mrs. Massa was a member of Pieceful Hearts Quilting Group that met on the 3rd Thursday of every month where they quilted, ate and gossiped. She was a former member of Jackson Quilters and Mississippi Quilters Association. She loved reading and was a Master Gardener.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carol Massa.
Mrs. Massa is survived by daughters, Laura Caillouet of Houston, TX, Jan Dill of St. Louis, MO, and Diane Ames of Dallas, TX; sons, Kelly Massa of Hattiesburg and Craig Massa of Hazlehurst; brother, Arthur “Butch” Weathersby of Byram; sister, Lavonne Burney of Jackson; 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
