Mona Juanita Johnson King

Mona Juanita Johnson King, 82, of Crystal Springs, died Friday, June 19, 2015, at Pine Crest Guest Home in Hazlehurst.

Mrs. King chose to donate her body to UMMC for medical research. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held Saturday, June 27, at Southern Star Restaurant in Crystal Springs from 3-5 p.m.

Mrs. King was born July 9, 1932 to George O. and Mavis Cook Johnson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jim King; and sister, Katharine Johnson Ainsworth.

Survivors include: children, Sheryl King Sykes (Bob), Anthony Lorelle King (Deborah) and Mark King (Brandi), all of  Crystal Springs; sister, Estelle Lamb; grandchildren, Paul Sykes (Beverly), John Sykes, Britton King (Jennifer), Evan King (Brittney), Wesley King, Brandi King Garrity (Brandon), Amber King and Patrick King; six great-grandchildren, Breanna Sykes, Pierce Sykes, Lily Sykes, Hunter King, Gavin Miller, and Easton King.

Memorials may be made to Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church, Crystal Springs Library, or a favorite charity.
