Carl Smith

Carl Leslie Smith, of Hazlehurst, went to be with his Heavenly Father on Nov. 8, 2024. He was born Sept. 24, 1955, in Vicksburg to Clyde William Smith and Edna Mae Hull Smith.

He is survived by his siblings, Vivian Camille Bell (Billy), Marilyn McHie (Bill), Clyde William Smith II (Gloria), Alan Christopher Smith (Heath), and Dortha Joy Stewart (David); and many nieces and nephews.

Carl was a very unique individual who loved all animals, especially his dogs. He really should have lived in the wilderness, fishing and panning for gold, but God had other plans for him.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, William T. Bell III.

His family wants to thank all those in his life who cared for and loved him. He will be missed, especially by Molly.
