Virginia Douglas
Virginia Estelle Douglas, 95, of Crystal Springs, died at Copiah Living Center on Monday, September 21, 2015.
Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Wednesday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 2pm Wednesday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial in Hazlehurst Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangement.
Mrs. Douglas was born September 2, 1920 in Tippah County and was the oldest of 8 children of Elijah and Lula B. Adair. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and a resident of Copiah Living Center for 9 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Marvin Douglas, Sr., two brothers, Gaston and Loyd Adair and two sisters, Hazle L. Little and Katherine Cline.
She is survived by three sisters, Faye Russell of Clinton, Lorilla Barlow and Louise Riley both of Hazlehurst; two daughters, Linda Hedgepeth (Harold) and Mary F. Lewis (Richard) all of Crystal Springs; one son, James M. Dougals (Louise) of Barlow; six granddaughters and one grandson; and 15 great grandchildren.
