Her life was nurtured by simple joys, most notably her love of gardening and butterflies. These passions were not only hobbies but a reflection of her gentle spirit and appreciation for the delicate wonders of the natural world.

In 1963, she relocated from her birthplace of Conn to Washington, D.C., and later settled in Atlanta, Ga. It was in 2014 when she relocated to Raymond, and she spent her final years surrounded by those who loved her.

She also leaves behind a brother, Hugh Jenkins and his wife, Sherron, and two sisters, Sarah White and her husband, Tom, and Penny Buckley. Her legacy of love continues through her grandchildren, Cooper Hodges and Olivia Edwards and her husband, Chandler.
