McMillian new District 1 supervisor
Daryl McMillan, the current alderman for Ward 4 in Hazlehurst, has won the race for District 1 supervisor in Copiah County. He defeated challenger Gloria Sandifer by a margin of 81% to 19%. McMillan will be sworn in in January, at which time a special election well be called to fill his alderman seat.
