Robert Burns Woods

Robert Burns Woods, 78, of Crystal Springs, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2007. 
Services were held Tuesday, Nov. 7, from Stringer Family Chapel in Hazlehurst with interment in the Hazlehurst Cemetery.
Mr. Woods, a native of Copiah County, was a member of First Baptist Church of Crystal Springs and a retired painter.  He was a veteran of the United States Army.  Mr. Woods, born June 27, 1929, was the son of the late Clarence and Jewel Woods of Copiah County.
Survivors include: Lanell Y. Woods, his wife of 30 years; sons, Wayne Tillman and wife Emma Lee of Crystal Springs and Robert Anthony Woods; daughter, Donna Carraway and husband Bruce of Crystal Springs;  sisters, Christine Barlow of Brookhaven and Mary Wilson of Monticello; grandchildren, Misti Smith and husband Alan of Cumming, GA, Bobby Skinner, Jr. and wife Connie of Georgetown and Kimberly Darby and husband Matt of Crystal Springs.
