William “Bill” Dungan, 86, of Crystal Springs, died Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at his home.
Services were held Friday, January 11, from Stringer Family Chapel with interment in Zion Hill Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs was in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Dungan was a native and lifelong resident of Copiah County except for the time he served in the U. S. Army during WWII when he was involved in the Luzon Campaign. Mr. Dungan was a shipping clerk for Kuhlman Electric from 1952 to 1985.
Survivors include: his wife, Lila Inez Owen Dungan; son, William M. Dungan, Jr., of Crystal Springs; daughter, Viki Lynn Mathews of Pearl; sisters, Dorothy Strong of Hazlehurst and Marvel Wigginston of McComb; seven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
