Peggy Calhoun

Peggy Jane Calhoun, 60, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. 

Services were held Saturday, Mar. 2, from Strong Hope Baptist Church. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Calhoun was a graduate of Copiah-Lincoln High School.  She was a member of Strong Hope Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include: husband, David Calhoun of Hazlehurst; sons, Lloyd Runyan of Lafayette, LA and Dean Runyan of Wesson; step-sons, Jimmy Channell, Terry Channell, Percy Calhoun, and David Keith Calhoun of Hazlehurst and Jerome Calhoun of Florence; step-daughter, Belinda Calhoun of Hazlehurst; brother Joe McCardle of Bay St. Louis; sister, Rita Holley of AL; and six grandchildren.
