Nurcill Henderson Collins

Nurcill Henderson Collins, 62, of Hazlehurst, died Thursday, March 20, 2008.

Services were held Saturday, March 22, from Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church in Hazlehurst with Pastor Willie T. Vances officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery with Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Collins was born Oct. 20, 1945, to Cleveland and Evie Henderson. She was a member of Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church and completed school in the Brookhaven school system. She was employed with Hazlehurst School and continued at Co-Lin school. She married Joe W. Collins Nov. 10, 1970.

Survivors include: husband, Joe W. Collins; children, Michael Collins, Patrick Collins, and Artrick Collins; sister, Ina Fulgham of Hazlehurst; stepchildren, Joseph Collins of Jackson, Judy Collins of Atlanta, GA, and Denise Hall of Hazlehurst.
