James Edward Strong

James Edward Strong, 84, of Greenwood, died Saturday, Oct. 11, 2008, at home.

Graveside services were held Monday, Oct. 13 at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Greenwood. Wilson and Knight Funeral Home was in charge.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Greenwood; a member and secretary of Dog Branch Hunting Club in Teoc; and a member of Odd Fellows.

Survivors include: a son, James E. “Jim” Strong, Jr. of Carrollton; daughters, Bonnie S. Andrews of Greenwood, Sarah Jane Cook of Cordova, TN and Anne Khristen of Memphis, TN; sister, Nell Speights of Brookhaven; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
