Robert L. Hart, Sr.

Robert L. Hart, Sr., 72, of Jayess, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at Lawrence County Hospital. 

Visitation will be 5pm-9pm Friday at Georgetown Pentecostal Church.  Services will be 11am Saturday at Georgetown Pentecostal Church with burial in Georgetown Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.

Mr. Hart was a native of Ruth.  He had lived in Carlisle, Illinois from 1956-1958.  He lived in Brookhaven until 1976 while he worked in pipeline construction.  He formerly lived in Port Gibson while working at the Nuclear Power Plant and moved to Raymond from 1980-1995.  He was currently living in Jayess.  He was a member of the Raymond Baptist Church.  He served in the Mississippi National Guard.  He was a member of The Fair River Masonic Lodge, Brookhaven, MS.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, James Hart, mother, Lillie Cooksey, and a brother, John Hart.
 
Survivors include: 2 sons and 4 daughters, Tanna (Johnny) Bosler of Centralia, IL, Robin (David) Bryan of Breeze, IL, Bobby (Ollie) Hart of Georgetown, MS, Tammy (Randy) Jones of Lena, MS, Carol (Matt) Myers of Pinola, MS, and Brian (Kelly) Hart of Jayess, MS; 2 sisters, Rosie Dunning of Monticello, MS, and Ruby Smith of Brookhaven, MS; brother, Tillman Hart of Brandon, MS, 8 grandsons, 4 granddaughters, 3 great grandsons, 3 great granddaughters, and a host of nephews and nieces.
