Gray Shockley
William Gray Shockley, 64, of Brookhaven, died Friday, August 13, 2010 at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Brookhaven.
Visitation will be 8am-10am Friday at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Crystal Springs. Services will be 10am Friday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Biloxi National Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mr. Shockley was a native of Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a graduate of Cooper High School in Vicksburg where his dad served with the Corp of Engineer and his mother was a teacher. He was a graduate of Ole Miss. He served in Vietnam in the U. S. Army as a Communications Officer. Mr. Shockley was honorably discharged in 1995 after 20 years of services.
He is survived by his wife Elaine Turner Shockley; step-sons, Matthew Young of Brookhaven and David Young of Bogue Chitto; sister, Beckie McDougal of Vaiden; and 3 grandchildren.
