Mary Haley
Mary Edna Haley, 92, of Crystal Springs, died Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson.
Visitation will be 12pm-2pm Wednesday at Bear Creek Methodist Protestant Church. Services will be 2pm Wednesday at the church with burial in Bear Creek Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Services in Crystal Springs is handling arrangements.
Mrs. Haley was a native and lifelong resident of Hinds county except for a period during WWII she lived in Salina, Kansas while her husband served in the war. She worked in her father’s country store until 1972. She graduated from Utica High School in 1937. Mrs. Haley was a member of Bear Creek Methodist Protestant Church.
She is survived by sons, Herman Earl Haley and wife Kathleen Ann of Crystal Springs, Johnny Hand Haley and wife Edna Jane of Jacksonville, Arkansas, Robert Wayne Haley and wife Linda Michelle of Crystal Springs, and William Melville (Mel) Haley and wife Regina Lee of Lamarque, Texas; daughter, Judy Sue Kelly and husband David M. of Crystal Springs; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
