Billy Kirby Lindsey

Billy Kirby Lindsey, 57, of the Joppa Community in Alabama, passed from this life on July 10, 2020, at Marshall Medical Center North in Guntersville, Ala.
Born to J.B. Lindsey and Nell Kirby Vaughn Lindsey, Billy was born on July 20, 1962, in Crystal Springs. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army in Desert Storm ranked as an SSG Military Police. Billy worked as a quality control technician for Georgia Gulf Inc. He was a jack of all trades; he enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends. Billy was a member of the Baileyton United Methodist Church.
Billy will be forever remembered by his beloved wife of 13 years, Rhonda Kay Henson Lindsey; sons, Zachary Lindsey (Anna Lee), Brice Lindsey, and Brandon Kyles (Jessica); daughter, Cassandra McIntosh (Jason); brother, Jackie Lindsey; sisters, Judy Woods (Ronnie) and Kay Smith (Larry); and nine grandchildren.
Mr. Lindsey is preceded in death by his parents, J.B. Lindsey and Nell Kirby Vaughn Lindsey; brothers, Jerry, Jimmy, and Johnny Lindsey; sisters, Peggy Ann Lindsey, Patsy Sue Ellis, and Betty Lou Horne.
Funeral services were held at the Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, in Arab, Ala., on July 14 with Rev. Deborah Moon officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel handled arrangements.
