Shirley Jean Hunley McKenny

Shirley Jean Hunley McKenny, 68, passed away Sept. 19, 2020. A funeral service was held Sept. 27, with Willie McKenny officiating. House of Peoples Funeral Home handled arrangements.
Ms. McKenny was born March 10, 1952, in Crystal Springs, to Brady Hunley Sr. and Geneva Smith. She enjoyed chatting with family and spending time with her family. She had a passion for walking, all sports, and caring for her dog.
Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Vincent McKenny; sisters, Eleese Fortenberry, Eva Harris, Martha Miller, Dorethea Carter, and Betty Lou Catchings; and brothers, Roy Hunley, Brady Hunley Jr., and Earnest Hunley.
Survivors include her son, Joseph McKenny Sr.; daughters, Lashunda Hunley and Tomeka Rockingham; sisters, Lena Harris, Sue Davis, Diane Miller, Doris Hunley, and Grace Robinson; two brothers, Jesse Hunley and Hollie Hunley; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
