Anne Ruth McLendon, 77, of Hazlehurst, died Friday, February 26, 2016 at her home.
Visitation will be 9am-11am at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be 11am Monday at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Wesson Cemetery. Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.
Mrs. McLendon retired after 38 years as a RN for the VA Hospital and she later worked at Pine Crest and Hardy Wilson. She loved her garden and flowers.
She was preceded by her husband, Charles Richard McLendon, Sr.
She is survived by sons, Charles R. McLendon, Jr. and wife Tonya of Crystal Springs; Steven D. McLendon and special friend Patricia Stroud of Wesson; daughter, Patricia Dianne McLendon Welch of Hazlehurst; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great great grandson.
