Lillie Beatrice Newman

Lillie Beatrice Newman, 89, of Hazlehurst,  passed away October 17, 2016 at Hardy Wilson Hospital.

Visitation will be 5pm-8pm Tuesday at Stringer Family Funeral Service.  Services will be 11am Wednesday at Wesson Baptist Church with burial at Wesson Cemetery.  Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst is handling arrangements.

Mrs. Newman was preceded in death by her husband, Hiram Clyde Newman, Sr., and sons, Calvin Rupert Newman, Charles Preston Newman, Hiram Clyde Newman, Jr., and Kenneth Carrol Newman.

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Nations; 12 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
