Barry Alan Ashley

Barry Alan Ashley, 63, of Hazlehurst, passed away July 3, 2017 at his residence.

Visitation will be Thursday, July 6, from 5pm-7pm at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. A memorial service will be 11am Friday, July 7 at Stringer Family Chapel with burial at Sardis Cemetery.

Mr. Ashley, a native of Hazlehurst, was a welder and a certified welding inspector. He was a member of Sardis Baptist Church. Barry was a longtime participate in the Wesson Wagon Trail.

Mr. Ashley was preceded in death by his father Ezra Dewey Ashley, Jr.

Survivors include, his daughter, Amber Ashley of Brookhaven; mother, Estell Ashley of Hazlehurst; brother, Marvin Weems Ashley of Hazlehurst; sister, Janie Carol Ashley of Hazlehurst.
