There were no surprises in the Nov. 8 general election in Copiah County, with several candidates running unopposed for re-election. Copiah County Medical Center will host a health screening event to celebrate National Rural Health Day from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 14 on the front lawn of the Copiah County Courthouse.
